Well, you may ask just who the heck is Phenryss and where did he come from??? hehehe... Well, there is a little story that goes with this name. Very simply, I love mythology, and Fenris wolves were guardians in Norse Mythology. Usually they are either depicted as a multi-headed wolf or three wolves guarding Hell/the Netherworld. My name is StePHEN Popichak...so...I combined Phen from my name with Fenris and in my own quirky way, spelled it different. Anyone that knows me knows that I HATE spelling things the way they are supposed to be. So, that is where the name came from.

Simple facts, I am 43 years old, originally from Pittsburgh, PA. moved to Columbia, MO ;7 years later in September of 2005, I headed up to Alaska, at first I lived in Fort Yukon, but have since moved to Fairbanks, AK. NORTH to Alaska...just like the song says!! I am an artist, I love music and love films, specifically German silent films. That's me in a nutshell...and no wise cracks about me being IN a nutshell...

Updates and News Items!!!

Wow, it's been a year almost since I edited this monster. Part of the reason is that Tripod changed editing tools, and I really have not had time to figure it all out. Parts are easier, parts, not so much. I have lots to add here, but just need something called TIME!!! Life is going good. Wish I had a better job, more money...yada yada yada...you know how it is! So kick back and explore until I do the updates that I need to do.

Soooo...it's been two years since I did any kind of major updates to this site....time flies!! Just wanted to give you all a heads up that this site is about to undergo a major change. For many reasons I will be cahnging this site to a professional art site. I will find somewhere to put all the personal stuff that is here now, but soon, it will be all business!!
